The signing process should be intuitive and easy for your signers. Discover the different ways NuSign offers an optimized signing experience anywhere, anytime, and across multiple devices.

NuSign has all the features you would expect in a eSignature solution, plus a lot more you typically do not get.

Document collection
NuSign provides you with the ability to request documentation from a customer without any requirement to eSign.

Standard and custom fields
Your customers can easily sign and initial documents in all the right places. Use standard fields to collect the following information from your signers: signatures, initials, names, titles, signing date, company names, and more. You even have the ability to create custom fields and reuse them to capture specific data from your customers.

Advanced form fields
Design advanced form fields including calculations, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, text fields, label fields, and more. In addition to these fields for Signer data entry, we have a range of conditional logic to control field visibility (e.g. show (positive condition) extra fields if a checkbox is selected, or disable (negative condition) if selected)

Retention and archiving
Once the eSignature process is completed, documents are pushed downstream and archived in your organization’s content management system or other preferred system of record solution for long-term storage and retention.

Additional documents
Include auxiliary documents to your transaction, such as legal disclosures or terms and conditions for your signers. Signers can easily view, accept, and sign these additional documents, or we can supply these as Read only, Print-Sign-Upload (PSU) or Print-Sign-Post (PSP). In complex business processes having the ability to guide Signers through an intuitive journey to ensure all actions are performed (e.g. read the Terms and conditions, eSigned the contract, uploaded my evidence) to ease the friction, speed the process, and deliver a great customer experience.

Mobile signature capture or capture on glass
Use your signer’s touch-enabled device to capture handwritten signatures. Cross-device support for desktop users to eSign from their mobile device. No app or plug-in required.

Web & other Signing options
NuSign supports both HTML document signing, and API-enabled checkbox/Click-through eSigning.

NuSign also supports options for BYO signature image (upload your own), or Type-and-Adopt (e.g. type your name and select from a range of available fonts), as well as standard options such as Click-to-Sign (most popular), Click-to-Initial, and handwritten via mobile device.

Customer portal and signing experience
Our customer portal not only allows us to create a unique brand for your organisation, but also for any sub-brand or co-brands you might work with. We have customers with over 70 brands, each brand provides an individual and unique experience.

Customer workflow
The customer workflow can be designed to suit your requirements. Allowing for various ways for your customers to interact. This could include a step based flow or controls on how documents are accessed.

Customer Support Info and Customer Interaction
The customer portal can provide as little or as much customer support information as required. For example, a broker, lender or your insurance account rep can be included in the information presented to a customer. And can also be configured to allow customer interaction messaging.

Extensive White-labelling
Completely white-label the eSignature process and ensure your brand is what your customers see. The customer portal experience will reflect your business, branded emails, branded SMS; putting your brand front and center. We customize not only design elements but also the customer flow and UI experience to match your needs. Integrated SMS
Invitations to sign notifications and Signer One-time-passcode (OTP) validation can be customised.

Emails
All emails communication can be customised for one brand or many. Emails can be triggered for a multitude of events, this included emails back to the parcel owner to inform them of events

Web interactions
Web interactions from initial invitations to customer portals are all customised to your requirements.

Non-eSign Communications
The ability to send customer communication (email, sms) independent of eSigning, for example, welcome emails, invoices, statements or related document delivery or collection, all the customer portal.

Payment integrations
Ability to integrate these customer interactions with payment processing and payment confirmation. For example; payment of insurance policy, prior to completion and issuance of eSign contract/certificate.

NuDoc simplifies the creation of eSign documents for operational staff and integrated systems. Providing a number of ways a document parcel can be created and sent for eSigning.

Actions
eSigning is considered an Action, with multiple options for the style of the eSignature or a signer initials. Parcels can have one or more Signers, and documents can have multiple actions requiring acceptance.

Automation of placement
We aim to reduce friction resulting in less time, complexity and cost. Complex Automation capabilities enable a range of methods and approaches to achieving the goal of simply uploading a document and having all the Actions, fields and related tasks done for you, avoiding either manual work by staff or requiring complex development by your organization.  NuDocs has a range of tools to support highly sophisticated analysis, detection and placement. Secure Signer attachments
Prompt your signers to attach supporting documentation during the signing process, such as a photo of a driver’s license or additional .pdf documents using NuExchange.

Smart (text) tags
Smart tags eliminate the need to manually place signatures and fields into your documents. By adding smart tags to your originating document, after uploading to NuSign, every smart tags is automatically replaced with the signature and fields at the right location.

NuSign Suite allows for the creation of multiple workflows to fit multiple business processes and/or departments, business units or sub-brands of your organization. We can define workflows that gives control over every step in the process to optimize the customer experience and ensure high completion rates. Allowing you to build the optimal eSignature process and signer experience based on your business needs.

Signer sequencing
Distribute documents to multiple signers and set the signing order. You have the option to let users sign one after the other or in parallel.

Templates
Templates are ideal to use for your frequently used documents. Set up signature and field placements to create reusable templates that reduce the number of steps needed to get documents out for eSignature.

Presets
Layouts are helpful for users who frequently send forms that include signature blocks and data fields which remain in the same location throughout the document. Layouts act as a blueprint and can be saved and applied to future documents with the same format and field requirements.

Document visibility
The document visibility feature allows you to choose which documents your recipients can view and sign. Designate individual document access in a single transaction with multiple documents, instead of having to create separate transactions for each recipient. What’s more, this feature saves you from having to process documents your recipients don’t need to see, and it ensures that documents with sensitive information are viewed only by your intended recipients.

Document reveal
Documents – and even pages within documents – can be hidden from a recipient until a business process is completed. For example hiding an insurance certificate until payment of insurance is completed.

Recipient permissions
Define the action a recipient needs to take (like signing), allowing them to change signer or simply approving a document. NuSign lets you customize a specific recipient workflow to meet your business needs.

Reminders and expirations
Set up automated email reminders and expirations for your recipients to complete the signing process on time. Reminders and expirations are powerful features to help you keep track of time-sensitive documents sent to your signers.

Conditional fields
Hide or reveal data that needs to be captured based on the signer’s response to specific fields. Use conditional logic in documents to ensure signers only see the relevant fields based on their selections.

Data Extraction
Data entered by your signers into conditional fields can be extracted and sent back to your target systems in a variety of different ways.

Straight through processing and API integration
Leverage our Restful API and Callback/Eventhook integrations to enable sophisticated application integration and straight-through-processing. We have implemented a wide range of integration patterns and can help you integrate quickly, and seamlessly.

Mandated Delays & Process Requirements
NuSign Suite has a wide range of enhanced features that help businesses meet compliance obligations, and ensure Signers have taken all necessary steps. Capabilities such as “Guarantor Delayed eSigning” where legislation requires a cooling-off-period, or where you might want Signers to have downloaded, printed or viewed a Terms & Conditions read only document, before being able to eSign a contract – are possible with our solution.

Internal Workflow Approvals
NuSign suite supports those workflows that require internal approvals, such as business/corporate banking where signing packages are manually created and must be approved by internal signing officers prior to sending to customers for signing.

Unlike most eSignature providers, we don’t just deliver documents to be signed. Our NuExchange can engage the end customer in a number of ways;

Enterprise level document delivery and collection
With or without eSignatures. Traditional eSignature vendors often require a documents have some form of signature associated with them, typically resulting in license cost.

Document upload from customers
For the collection of additional requirements e.g. identity documents, proof of ownership/insurance, vehicle condition photos (for auto-insurance), the list is endless. Documents can be made mandatory or optional as part of the customer submission process

Sophisticated Back Office Compliance portal
The back-office allows for the review of signed documents and provides the ability to accept/reject documents and images and to communicate with the end customer when more information is required. Rejected images are supported via pre-built workflows to ensure the same signing package is maintained. Mistakes by the customer should not result in additional operational cost in creating new parcels

Document Storage
All Documents and Images are presented and stored separately to give you granularity in storage, analytics, and taxonomy

Establish list of required images/documents per workflow
Business rules can be configured within NuSign Suite to establish the workflow rules for which images and documents must be loaded by customers. The pre-established list of required/optional documents results in higher quality, complete transactions and a reduction in training.

NuSign’s Suite secure identity authentication options, add security to validate your signer’s identity when conducting transactions online. The workflow setup will allow you to specific;

Email & SMS
Email authentication is the default option NuSign uses to verify your recipient’s identity. The signer simply clicks the Signer-specific link to access the documents they need to sign. This is basic without any additional checks or validation, achieving the least friction and is suitable for a variety of customer requirements.

One-Time-Passcode via SMS and Email
Verify your signer’s identity via a secure one-time code sent via SMS or email. The signer enters the code into the login page and gains access to the documents that require signature. OTPs are time-limited and unique to each access. These are used by our banking clients and have passed rigorous IT security review. Typically these are sent via SMS, however, we have the option to send via Email for cost or preference purposes.

Single Sign On (SSO)
We integrate via a range of SSO options to enable you to redirect into NuSign from your own Digital channels – such as Internet Banking, or online Application processes. We support SAML and JWT, and can customise these capabilities based on payload data contained within your SSO requests to achieve enhanced capabilities.

Manage all transactions and gain visibility into all NuSign customer interactions, full audit trail of all interactions. Account activity with reporting capabilities that allow you to track all your incoming and outgoing transactions in NuSign.

Dashboard
Monitor the progress of your transactions in real time and manage (or archive) all your critical eSignature transactions in NuSign and/or your system of record. The dashboard allows you to view and track eSign transactions.

Run reports on transactions, signers, and overall activity in your NuSign account

Sender Portal
Our sender portal is designed for non-operational staff e.g lenders, brokers, bankers. Staff or third parties that need to interact with the eSign and customer experience, to review, approve or just view the progress of a customer signing ceremony.

Customer Portal
Our customer portal is fully customisable portal, to provide your customers with a branded experience. Allowing customers to access document to review, sign and upload and finally submit.

We take the necessary steps and have safeguards to provide a secure solution, meet industry-standard security requirements, and ensure that data is safe at all times.

Tamper-sealed documents
NuSign uses advanced digital signature technology, an encryption method, to tamper seal documents after each signature and visibly invalidate documents if any changes are made. This built-in security guarantees the integrity of the document and helps protect you and your customers from fraudulent behaviour.

Nonrepudiation audit trails
When legal disputes arise involving electronic transactions, NuSign creates the best possible evidence. NuSign captures a single audit trail of the entire agreement process – from identity verification and authentication to eSignature. As a result, you get a nonrepudiation audit trail, with a complete picture of the transaction interaction for all signers.

Embedded audit trail
NuSign also embeds details about the eSignature transaction within the signed .pdf, including who signed, the date and time of signing, and the digital certificate used to digitally sign the document. The digital signature (hashing and encryption) allows verification of the validity of the document from the time of signing to ensure non-repudiation of the eSigned record. Easily verify the signed document by clicking the signature block. This opens the audit trail and automatically verifies both signer authentication and document validity.

Document flattening
NuSign removes any dynamic content from the document before processing. As a result, any form field used as a vehicle to replace content via overlay is stripped from the document.

NuSign extracts any entered data and stores this in JSON which is sent to downstream systems. All data is validated to prevent any malicious code. We scan all documents for malware and we can integrate with your enterprise malware systems for document scanning before delivery.

Cloud security
Security-conscious organizations are looking for assurance that the vendors they work with meet the necessary security requirements. NuSign is hosted in state-of-the-art SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA compliant data centres around the world. Nuvola itself is a PCI DSS certified provider for our NuPayments platform, and are implementing ISO27001 for our cloud hosted NuSign services. In addition, we can host on-premise within your own Data centre or Cloud provider, as a number of our banking clients require systems on-premise. We support a range of delivery options from Cloud multi-tenant, Cloud single-tenant (aka private Cloud), and full on-premise solutions.

Key Management Service (KMS)
A signed document and its related data is encrypted by NuSign at all times using state-of-the-art encryption technology. NuSign follows security best practices with options for best-in-class KMS data protection.

Virus scanning of attachments
Documents uploaded as attachments by signers are immediately scanned for malware. If a malicious document is detected, NuSign blocks the document and prevents signers from uploading it in the signing workflow. We can also integrate into most enterprise antivirus solutions should you require.
